I really enjoyed the class, Jesse made some provided good information and suggestions. The only drawback was because of Riverfest the streets had a lot of cones, signs and fences often blocking what could have been good shots.

Hand out was very useful. Riverfest area prevented is from walking the predetermined route. It was very enjoyable walking around with other photographers, seeing how they looked at a scene, trying some different techniques.

Hello! My name is Kelly, and I love taking photos! My favorite subject to photograph is horses, but I've also done a few senior portraits, weddings, and I really enjoy doing still life photos as well. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Digital Photography in 2019 with the intention of becoming a horse show photographer, but that plan went out the door thanks to Covid. So instead, I've spent the last several years working on my eye and honing my craft. I look forward to spending time with other photographers!

I made all the food and my daughter, Brie 10 years old helped me orient the food and take pictures. She showed some of the pictures at the Sedgwick County Fair and got Blue ribbons there on similar photos. We did not take this one to the fair, but I am happy with how it turned out too.

This image is part of a larger series that will likely outlive me. A search for beauty in the small, quiet things most people pass without noticing. On this particular day, I wanted to photograph balance. These parmesan and red pepper shakers sat patiently on a table in downtown Wichita?s Old Chicago: light and dark, comfort and heat, subtlety and intensity existing side by side in quiet equilibrium.Sometimes balance doesn?t announce itself loudly. Sometimes it?s just waiting on a tab

We were on vacation to Orange Beach, Alabama in June 2018. I had just started taking photography classes the previous year. As I was sitting on the condo patio, I had an image in my mind. I took my sunglasses and propped them up on my beach hat so I could get the reflection of the beach in the lens of the sunglasses. It turned out exactly how I had imagined. It?s fun to try different things with photography.

I was over the moon from the start of shooting this shot to the final edit.It was my first time when I finally learned how to use a tracker after owning the tracker for one year. I was stunned after seeing those images. Never had a chance to shoot that long exposure, but found it was absolutely worth it.I was with my partner and friends at Pandanus on Litchfield, and definitely was thinking of shooting in a conventional style. So, I definitely wasn?t prepared. Also, the moon was going to

Originally showed up at Gouldsboro State Park at sunrise to get a backlit, misty shot of the island but when I got there, NO mist, and enough boats on the lake to walk across!Quickly decided to take a backroad to another favorite spot nearby, and slammed on the brakes as I was driving over a small bridge when I looked to the right and saw THIS scene. Finding it was sheer luck, but as always, just getting out there at first light is half the battle. Made this one standing right on the bridge.
